Nd:YAG laser systems: Does not target melanin, making it safe for all skin types, even dark skin tones. Its long wavelength means fewer pulses of energy are needed, making Nd:YAG laser treatments shorter and more comfortable than other laser systems with faster repetitions. The Nd:YAG is more effective than IPL treatments for removing unwanted body hair. Good for treating larger areas.
How Long Does A Treatment Take?
The treatment time will vary depending on the size of the area, varying from few minutes (like the chin area) to 15-30 minutes ( legs, back)
What Can I Expect During A Laser Hair Removal Treatment?
At your appointment, you will relax in a private room. The areas to be treated are cleaned to remove dirt, oil and lotions. During laser hair removal, the Diolaze laser will target and kill the hair follicle, preventing it from growing back.
What Results Will I See?
Results after laser hair removal are not immediate because it takes about two weeks for the treated hair to fall out. Also, all the hair in the targeted area is not treated in a single session, because hair grows in cycles, lasers can only treat hair when it is in the active growth phase. As a result, the hair will grow from the follicles that were not in the active growth phase during treatment. That is the reason why it can take between 6-8 hair removal sessions to get optimal results in one treatment area.
What is the Downtime?
There is no downtime after laser hair reduction so you can return to your normal routine immediately after treatment. The skin may be mildly red after the procedure, but this should resolve in a few days.
