The recovery from sclerotherapy is typically straightforward. Since it’s an office-based procedure, you can return home immediately, and downtime is minimal. Following the treatment, you’ll need to wear the recommended compression hose for two to three days. This helps prevent the veins from refilling and enhances the results. For the initial two days, it’s advisable to rest and avoid strenuous activities such as exercise, heavy lifting, high-impact exercises, work, or home improvement projects. A follow-up appointment is usually scheduled around two weeks after the procedure.
